Amy Rogers

Whether you're a child who needs a safe space to play through big feelings, a teen figuring out who you are, or a parent navigating a challenging chapter, I'm here to help.

As a holistic therapist, I believe healing involves the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I specialize in anxiety, depression, school-related challenges, major life transitions, and blended family dynamics. I also support parents of neurodivergent children, families going through divorce, and those living with chronic illness.

Before becoming a therapist, I was an educator. That background gives me a unique understanding of what kids and teens face every day. I also provide coaching for parents navigating the 504 and special education systems.

I hold a Master's in Counseling from the University of Central Florida and am supervised by Ana Maria Cabezas. My approach integrates play therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, and sandtray therapy.

Education and Training

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A), I am supervised by Ana Maria Cabezas. I am also a certified school counselor in Texas. I have experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings.

My training incorporates elements of play therapy and art therapy techniques, along with mindfulness-based and integrative approaches. I also provide coaching and support for parents navigating the 504 and special education systems. Ongoing professional development ensures compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
