Counselor-in-Training, Internship Student

Amanda Tantillo Neal

I believe that therapy should be collaborative and client-centered, with each approach tailored to the unique goals and needs of the individual. My work has included supporting families navigating trauma and grief, as well as providing individual counseling for anxiety and depression.

Across all settings, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel empowered to heal and grow. I believe that with determination and support, any goal can be achieved. I am deeply passionate about helping others realize their aspirations, whether they involve overcoming significant challenges or addressing smaller obstacles. I am committed to fostering an environment that emphasizes resilience, collaboration, and growth.

Education and Training

I am currently completing my master’s degree in clinical psychology. I hold my LCDC-A credential and earned my BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I am working under supervisor Ana María Cabezas, LPC-S, RPT, SEP.

My professional background includes working with the military community, where I gained hands-on experience supporting individuals with PTSD and traumatic brain injury (TBI). I also have experience working with the Deaf community and some proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), which has deepened my commitment to accessible and inclusive care.
