Self-care

In the vibrant and busy city of Austin, it’s easy to put yourself last on the list. But self-care doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming—it can be as simple as stepping outside for fresh air, journaling in the language that feels most natural to you, or making time for a 'cafecito' with a friend who truly gets you.

For bilingual and multicultural folks, caring for yourself also means honoring both parts of your identity and giving yourself space to rest, reflect, and reconnect.

As a bilingual therapist here in Austin, I believe self-care is a way to recharge your heart so you can keep showing up—at work, with family, and for yourself—with more peace and purpose.
