Counselor-in-Training
Arelis Roche
I am a bilingual (Spanish-English) counseling intern with a deep passion for supporting children and families on their journey toward healing, growth, and emotional connection.
My personal journey has taught me what it means to experience the world in a different way. That has shaped my desire to help others with authenticity, compassion, and respect. I know the value of being understood and the strength that comes from feeling truly seen.
I work with children, teens, families, and adults. If you're looking for a safe space to explore emotions or grow together, it would be my honor to walk alongside you.
Education and Training
I previously worked as a teacher assistant in an elementary school with special education students, which deepened my understanding of childhood emotional needs and strengthened commitment to empathetic care. I also have a strong passion for writing.
I’ve published a book on ADHD in childhood, inspired by the desire to create resources that promote emotional awareness and offer meaningful support to children and their families.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ana G. Méndez University. I am currently completing a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling (online modality) at the same institution, which is recognized in both Puerto Rico and Florida.
