Counselor-in-Training, Internship Student

Ella Lawrence

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to help people. I love listening to people’s stories, and the more work I do as a therapist, the more captivated I become by the experiences they’ve had—and by the hope and strength it takes to seek support.

My love for this work is grounded in a deep belief that everyone deserves access to therapy. As an isolated child and teenager who lacked compassionate support, I understand firsthand the importance of making therapy accessible. I also recognize how essential it is for people to feel truly seen, especially when everything appears fine on the outside but feels very different inside.

Education and Training

I’m currently completing my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Kairos University. I am practicing under the supervision of Hilary Chiu, LMFT, AAMFT-S. I have worked with children and their families for many years. I have seen the power of addressing challenges in a systematic way that considers all aspects of a person’s life. I offer support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions.
